In NFL.com's latest two-round mock draft, put together by Charley Casserly, the Dallas Cowboys select a safety and a defensive lineman with their first and second-round picks. First, with the No. 14 overall pick, the Cowboys grab Alabama safety Mark Barron.
14) Dallas Cowboys: Mark Barron, S, Alabama. The Cowboys continue their offseason overhaul of an ailing secondary.
With the addition of two guards in free agency, the Cowboys may not feel the need to select David DeCastro in the first round and the addition of Barron could really help shore up a secondary that struggled in 2011.
Then, with the team's second-round pick, the Cowboys selected Penn State defensive lineman Devon Still.
45) Cowboys: Devon Still, DL, Penn State. Youth is needed on Dallas' defensive line.
Still is a talented defensive tackle that can both stop the run and help rush the passer and you can't have too many guys that know how to do both.
