2012 NFL Free Agency: Dallas Cowboys To Host Brandon Carr, According To Report

According to a report from ESPN Dallas' Todd Archer, the Dallas Cowboys will host free agent cornerback Brandon Carr, who played the last four seasons with the Kansas City Chiefs.

The Cowboys are reportedly planning on hosting the free agent CB on Tuesday in an effort to sign him to a "lucrative contract," which they failed to do last off-season when they tried to convince top free agent CB Nnamdi Asomugha that he should sign with Dallas.

Carr is considered one of the top free agent cornerbacks in this year's class along with Cortland Finnegan.

In 2011, Carr had 58 tackles, 13 pass deflections and four interceptions for the Chiefs, who opted to extend Brandon Flowers' contract and sign Stanford Routt instead of pay to keep Carr around.
