2012 NFL Free Agency: Martellus Bennett To Visit Division Rival Giants

Free agent tight end Martellus Bennett is taking a visit with the New York Giants, according to a report by Calvin Watkins of ESPN Dallas:

"Tight end Martellus Bennett is visiting with the New York Giants and wide receiver Laurent Robinson is visiting with Jacksonville, according to sources. The Cowboys would like to keep Robinson, who led the team with 11 touchdown catches last year, but the price tag might get too high, especially with Miles Austin and Dez Bryant on the roster." - Calvin Watkins

Bennett, despite having a world of talent coming out of Texas A&M as a second-round draft pick in 2008, has never lived up to expectations in Dallas.

The 6'6 250 TE has become known more for his off-field antics and Youtube videos than anything he's done on the football field, where he's struggled to develop any sort of connection with Tony Romo while being buried behind All-Pro TE Jason Witten on the depth chart.
