The latest mock draft Wes Bunting of the National Football Post is matching to other mock drafts regarding the Dallas Cowboys. Bunting debates between the Cowboys taking Alabama defensive back Dre Kirkpatrick and Stanford guard David DeCastro.

Bunting ultimately goes with Kirkpatrick at No. 14 for the Cowboys since cornerback is the bigger need. Kirkpatrick is listed as their No. 2 cornerback, and here is some of NFP's scouting report on Kirkpatrick:

Impression: Will be an ideal zone corner at the next level because of his size, instincts and physicality. However, he can also press off the line and consistently re-route receivers. Isn't a dynamic quick-twitch athlete, but showcases good balance, can keep his feet under him and looks like a "plus" caliber starting cornerback in the NFL. Reminds me some of Chargers cornerback Quinton Jammer physically.
