NFL Power Rankings: Dallas Cowboys come in at No. 16

The Dallas Cowboys are right in the middle of the pack in the latest SB Nation NFL Power Rankings.

US PRESSWIRE

A win over the lowly Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday night moved the Cowboys to 6-6 and kept them in the hunt for both the NFC East and Wild Card. Right in the middle of the pack is where you'll find America's Team in the latest SB Nation NFL Power Rankings, as the Cowboys moved up two spots to No. 16.

Color NFL Editor Joel Thorman unimpressed:

"16. Dallas Cowboys (LW: 18, 6-6): If you're beating the Eagles, does it really count as a win anymore?"

In an up and down season, No. 16 seems like the perfect landing spot for Dallas, as CBS Sports and ESPN.com also have the Cowboys at that number in their Power Rankings. ESPN's Dan Graziano sees a so-so football team:

"They can look better than you think or worse than you can imagine, often within the same game. The end result is that they're average."

The Cowboys look to keep their postseason hopes alive at Cincinnati on Sunday. After that the'll host PIttsburgh and New Orleans before closing the season at Washington.
