The Dallas Cowboys take on the Washington Redskins on Sunday night in a battle for the NFC East title and will be playing the biggest game of the year with a worn and battered defense. Bruce Carter and Sean Lee are both on injured reserve, with Jay Ratliff gone for at least the regular season.
Outside linebacker DeMarcus Ware is probable for Sunday's game after not practicing all week due to elbow and shoulder injuries. Ware was severely limited in the Week 16 loss to the New Orleans Saints and will be wearing a special brace on his shoulder in Washington, as well as an elbow brace.
Linebacker Ernie Sims, who played just a handful of snaps against New Orleans before leaving with lingering concussion symptoms, is questionable for Sunday's game. Sims was a a full participant in practice this week but will be tested with physical contact prior to the Redskins game before being cleared to play.
Alex Albright (knee), Victor Butler (groin) and Jason Hatcher (thigh) are all probable and likely to play on Sunday.
