Dallas Cowboys linebacker DeMarcus Ware missed his second straight practice on Thursday with shoulder and elbow issues.
The eight-year veteran left last week's 34-31 overtime loss to the New Orleans Saints when he aggravated a shoulder injury that has plagued him for most of the season. Given that the Cowboys are fighting for a playoff spot in Week 17, the eight-year veteran intends to play through the pain.
Linebacker Victor Butler (groin) and defensive lineman Jason Hatcher (thigh) returned to practice in a limited capacity on Thursday after sitting out on Wednesday.
Nose tackle Jay Ratliff also sat out Cowboys practice on Thursday as he is still recovering from sports hernia surgery. He is not expected to play in the team's regular season finale against the Washington Redskins on Sunday night.
Kickoff is slated for 7:20 p.m. CT at FedEx Field and the game will be televised on nationally on NBC.
