Dallas hosts New Orleans as its playoff push comes down to the wire.

Matthew Emmons-USA TODAY Sports

The Dallas Cowboys hope to continue their hot streak on Sunday as they host the New Orleans Saints at Cowboys Stadium with a playoff berth still up for grabs.

Dallas (8-6) has won five of its last six games and has played itself into playoff contention. The Cowboys are tied with three other teams for the NFC's final wild card spot but only has a tiebreak over one of them, so the wins must keep coming. Tony Romo averaged 305 passing yards in the Cowboys' last two close wins: a one-point win over the Cincinnati Bengals and an overtime victory against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

The Saints (6-8), meanwhile, had ridden a three-game losing streak out of playoff contention until beating the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, 41-0, in Week 15. Drew Brees throws for 298 yards per game for the Saints' second-ranked passing offense, but the New Orleans defense is worst in the NFL, allowing 433 yards per game.
