Five Dallas Cowboys players did not practice with the team on Wednesday, including nose tackle Jay Ratliff and running back DeMarco Murray.
Ratliff was injured late in the first half in Sunday's loss to the Atlanta Falcons and, after attempting to play on the ankle, was forced to leave the game. The Falcons averaged more than six yards per carry when Ratliff was out of the game in the second half, a big reason for the Cowboys defensive struggles late in the game.
Murray has missed the past three games with a foot injury, and it was hopeful he would be ready to play against the Philadelphia Eagles. Both Murray and Ratliff's status for Sunday's game is uncertain.
Also missing practice were center Phil Costa (ankle), safety Matt Johnson (hamstring) and defensive lineman Sean Lissemore (ankle). Felix Jones (knee) and Dez Bryant (hip) both were listed as having full participation in practice.
