Cowboys vs. Falcons: Kevin Ogletree comes alive

Kevin Ogletree had his second-best game of the season on Sunday night in Dallas' loss to the Falcons.

Dallas Cowboys' wide receiver Kevin Ogletree turned a lot of heads in Week 1, when the Cowboys upset the New York Giants, largely thanks to Ogletree's performance.

In Dallas' Week 1 win over the Giants, Ogletree caught eight passes for 114 yards and two touchdowns. Prior to Sunday night's game, Ogletree had caught just 16 passes since, without finding the end zone once. Perhaps more alarming, Ogletree failed to record a catch in Dallas' losses to the Baltimore Ravens and Giants – two games Dallas lost by a combined seven points.

Ogletree did come to life again on Sunday, however, catching three passes for 96 yards and a touchdown – Dallas' only touchdown of the night – but it wasn't enough to spark an otherwise lackluster offense on Sunday night.

If the Cowboys are going to succeed and make a playoff push, they'll likely need Ogletree to play better, and give Tony Romo another legitimate weapon in which to throw.
