The Dallas Cowboys added multiple players to their injury report, including a couple of key starters, following their Thanksgiving defeat to the Washington Redskins.
Linebacker Bruce Carter left the game with an elbow injury. Carter hopes to play against the Philadelphia Eagles, but the team is less confident. Dallas will re-evaluate his injury Friday.
The Cowboys were already thin at inside linebacker before the Carter injury, as Sean Lee is out for the rest of the season with a sprained toe. Dan Connor and Ernie Sims replaced Carter in the second half.
Wide receiver Miles Austin also left the game, injuring his hip in the second quarter. His status against the Eagles is unknown.
Slot receiver Kevin Ogletree missed the Washington game with a concussion, so the loss of Austin dealt another blow to the Cowboys' receiver depth. Dwayne Harris and Cole Beasley attempted to fill Austin's void in the second half.
Nickel corner Orlando Scandrick broke his left hand in the second quarter, forcing him to leave the game. Mike Jenkins filled in for Scandrick following the injury.
