The Dallas Cowboys are somehow only a 3-point underdog on the road to the NFL's last remaining unbeaten team. Still, most of the experts around the Internet are picking the Cowboys to fall to 3-5 and the Falcons to go to 8-0.
SB Nation NFL Editor Joel Thorman picked the Falcons to win 34-20 and he sees Tony Romo's interception woes continuing:
"Sometimes, a stat can be all the preview you need. The Falcons are plus-10 in the turnover ratio this year. The Cowboys are minus-11. How many picks Tony Romo throws is the real question here."
The computer predictions provided by Odds Shark also likes the Falcons big, giving Atlanta an estimated 32.6 points to Dallas' 18.9.
The Falcons were a clean sweep to win by the experts at Yahoo! Sports, as Mike Silver, Jason Cole and Les Carpenter all like Atlanta. Dallas did receive a couple of votes from the eight-man panel at CBS Sports, with Clark Judge and Jason La Canfora going against the grain and giving the Cowboys the upset. NFL expert Pete Prisco with CBS, however, likes Atlanta to win 27-21:
"The Cowboys are coming off a tough division loss to the Giants, while the Falcons impressed in winning at Philadelphia. The Atlanta passing game is impressive and that will show up here. Look for a big game from Matt Ryan has he continues his MVP-like roll."
The Cowboys and Falcons meet in the Georgia Dome Sunday night at 7:20 p.m. CT.
