Cowboys vs. Eagles: Dwayne Harris' punt return TD changed game

Following Dallas' 38-23 win over the Philadelphia Eagles, head coach Jason Garrett praised Dwayne Harris for his big punt return.

Dwayne Harris took over the punt returning duties from Dez Bryant earlier in the season for the Dallas Cowboys, and the decision seems to have been a good one so far for the 'Boys. Harris came very close to breaking out for a TD on a punt return against the Atlanta Falcons, and finally did get his first one against the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday.

His 78-yard return helped give the Cowboys some important points during their eventual 38-23 victory over the Eagles, giving them a 24-17 lead very early in the fourth quarter. He has put up 18.9 yards per return on eight returns so far this season and is likely to keep the job for the rest of the year if he keeps up his solid production.

After the game, Cowboys head coach Jason Garrett gave some praise to Harris for helping turn the game completely in Dallas' direction with the strong return:

"Oftentimes, he is described as a guy who is back there that is pretty solid with the ball, that you can trust him in catching the football, but I think he showed all of us he can do a little more than that," head coach Jason Garrett said. "He is a strong runner, he has good vision, and he is an outstanding returner. Obviously, a huge play in the game for us."
