NFL lines and odds Week 8: Giants slightly favored over Cowboys

Few matchups in the NFL tend to be as impossible to predict as when any two NFC East teams square off, and that's reflected in the odds for Sunday's game between the New York Giants and Dallas Cowboys at Texas Stadium.

The Cowboys (3-3) opened as a 2-point favorite against the first-place Giants (5-2), which naturally led to a lot of action on the Giants, despite the fact that Dallas won the first meeting between the two teams in Week 1. Now, depending on the source, the Giants are favored by anywhere from 1 to 2.5 points.

Bet Online and 5Dimes have New York favored by 1, while Bovada has the Giants favored by 2 and Just Bet has them by 2.5. The over-under is steady at 47.5 across the sites after opening at 47.
