The Dallas Cowboys ended their two-game losing streak with a 19-17 win over the Carolina Panthers in Week 7, but with a tough three-game stretch starting in Week 8 at home against the Giants, then back-to-back road games at Atlanta and Philadelphia, how will this portion of the year hold out for the 'Boys?
SB Nation's Brad Newberg sat down with KD Drummond of Blogging the Boys on the Monday Minute - where Newberg asks one NFL-related question and one fantasy-related question.
Newberg asked if the Cowboys had to win two of those three games in order to feel good about their playoff chances.
Drummond was cavalier in his response, suggesting losing two games won't matter much:
"The key for the Cowboys is going to be more about how they're playing at the end of this as opposed to whether they win or lose two games."
And what about DeMarco Murray's injury? Will there be an even split in carries between Felix Jones and Phillip Tanner if Murray is out for an extended period of time?
From a fantasy perspective, Drummond doesn't feel it matters, as neither one are likely to be substantial fantasy contributors.
"I wouldn't touch either of them with a 10-foot pole, athletic tape and a splint."
