The Dallas Cowboys move up five spots to No. 17 in the latest SB Nation NFL Power Rankings following their road win over the Carolina Panthers that snapped a two-game losing streak. A bigger test comes this weekend when the Cowboys host the first-place New York Giants (No. 3 in the rankings).
SB Nation's Ryan Van Bibber is as proud as you are about Tony Romo playing a game not rife with mistakes:
17. Dallas Cowboys (LW: 22, 3-3): Tony Romo finally had a game without an interception. Only 10 more games to go!
The Cowboys are the lowest-ranked of the four NFC East teams, despite being ahead of Washington in the standings. The Philadelphia Eagles (3-3) are No. 13 and the Redskins (3-4) are No. 14.
ESPN and CBS Sports both like Dallas slightly more than SB Nation, putting the Cowboys at No. 15 in their respective rankings. ESPN writes that the passing game still isn't clicking and CBS' Pete Prisco writes that the team can launch its season with a win over the Giants this weekend.
