Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant, who was on the team's injury list Friday, has been omitted from the inactive list Sunday and will start against the Carolina Panthers. Bryant had been listed as questionable with a groin injury, but has been cleared to play.
Cowboys defensive lineman Marcus Spears is also expected to return to action after missing last week's game against Baltimore. He will replace Sean Lissemore, who is inactive with an ankle sprain.
Dallas halfback DeMarco Murray, who ran for 93 yards on 14 attempts last week before exiting the game with a sprained foot, is listed as inactive.
Linebacker Jon Beason and cornerback Chris Gamble remain inactive for the Carolina defense. Beason has been struggling with a knee injury, and Gamble is still treating an injured shoulder.
