Let's face it, the Jerry Jones/Jason Garrett/Tony Romo Cowboys don't exactly have the best reputation nationally.

So it's no surprise that their bizarre 31-29 loss to the Ravens on Sunday wouldn't be looked favorably by the scribes who compile the NFL Power Rankings. Over at the SB Nation mothership, Joel Thorman dropped Dallas six spots to No. 22:

22. Dallas Cowboys (LW: 16, 2-3): What do the Cowboys do well?

To answer his question, they ... do a phenomenal job of snatching defeat from the hands of victory.

But, in terms of whether excel at any phase of the game, the slow-motion train-wreck that has been their offensive line has sunk both their passing and running game for most of the year, although they did dominate an old and infirm Baltimore front seven.

Their defense, meanwhile, has been notably improved by the additions of Brandon Carr, Morris Claiborne and Bruce Carter, but it hasn't been nearly good enough to make up for all the poor positions their offense has put them in 2012.
