DeMarco Murray injury: Cowboys RB deals with foot issue throughout game

Dallas Cowboys RB DeMarco Murray did not start the second half against the Baltimore Ravens as he was dealing with a foot injury. However, after testing it for one carry he then left the game. He was touch-and-go for the second half and didn't see much action.

In a game marred with injury, Murray is the next in a long line of starters who have left the game due to being banged up. Ravens CB Lardarius Webb was forced out early with a sprained knee, only to be joined by fellow defensive starter Haloti Ngata, who has since returned to the field. Shortly before the half it was the Cowboys dealing with injuries of their own, as cornerback Morris Claiborne was hurt on an endzone pass while jockeying for position with receiver Torrey Smith.

DeMarco Murray was giving the Ravens' defense serious problems in the first half, as he went to the locker room with 13 carries for 90 yards, at an impressive 6.9 yards per carry. Murray finished with 14 carries for 93 yards. Felix Jones finished with 18 carries for 92 yards.
