Cowboys vs. Ravens score update: Dallas runs over Baltimore defense for early 7-3 lead

After 15 minutes in Baltimore, the Dallas Cowboys lead the Ravens, 7-3. Both teams scored on their first possession, with Jason Garrett's offense running all over the Baltimore defense.

The Ravens used up nearly half the quarter on their opening drive, slowly marching down the field with a mix of pass and run. Baltimore moved inside the red zone, but on third-and-one, the Cowboys' Alex Albright stepped in to blow up an outside run by Bernard Pierce. The Ravens settled for a 38-yard field goal from Justin Tucker for the early 3-0 lead.

But the Cowboys quickly responded on their opening possession, running the ball right through the Baltimore defense. The Ravens were gashed on the ground by the Chiefs last week, with Jamaal Charles running for over 100 yards in the first half alone. Dallas is doing the same so far, with both DeMarco Murray and Felix Jones finding running lanes on the outside. Jones busted one outside for the first score of the day, a 21-yard scamper down the left sideline. He was initially ruled out-of-bounds at the one, but a Garrett challenge successfully overturned the call. An animated gif of the play:
