The Dallas Cowboys head to Maryland to take on the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday, as the Cowboys look to improve to 3-2 on the season.
Your fantasy team, meanwhile, may be jockeying for much needed playoff position already, as we move into Week 6 of the season.
Though the Cowboys are just 2-2 on the season and haven't looked spectacular, they do boast the league's top pass defense, allowing just 169.5 yards per game through the air. Consequently, fantasy owners should look to bench Joe Flacco this week and look for a better matchup elsewhere. Rob Ryan and Dallas' defense will have had two weeks to prepare for Flacco and the Ravens, and will likely have a very good gameplan in place.
Ray Rice, on the other hand, is a must-start. Rice is simply one of the most talented running backs in all of football, and should start at all times, regardless of the matchup.
Torrey Smith and Anquan Boldin are both risky plays as well. Smith likely will draw the most attention from Ryan and Dallas' defense, putting other receivers such as Boldin in a position to succeed. Still, Dallas' pass defense is the top in the NFL this year. I'd consider both a risky WR2 and a solid flex play, but nothing more.
Dennis Pitta has just three receptions in his last two games. If you're dealing with an injury at TE (like me -- Hi, Aaron Hernandez), you might be stuck with Pitta. I'd recommend benching Pitta, unless you're dealing with an injury or bye week.
