The Dallas Cowboys welcome the Chicago Bears to Arlington on Monday night, looking to build some actual positive momentum after a sloppy win over Tampa Bay in Week 3. The Cowboys (2-1) have been inconsistent all season and nearly all good faith after the opening night win over the New York Giants has disappeared, while the Bears (2-1) head to Dallas attempting to prove to be capable of winning against a decent team.
Tony Romo will lead an uncertain offense against a very good Chicago defense, one that has been one of the top-ranked run defenses in the NFL. Romo and the Cowboys will have to find a way to do better on first down after facing third-and-long on more than a few occasions against the Buccaneers the week before.
The Bears, meanwhile, will look to get quarterback Jay Cutler back on track. After a strong start to the season against the Detroit Lions, Cutler has just 309 yards passing and five interceptions in his past two games. The Bears, similar to the Cowboys, are searching for consistency on offense and could be without star running back Matt Forte, who is questionable for Monday night.
