Tiger Woods, Tony Romo To Pair Up At Pebble Beach

Once again, we'll find Tony Romo on the golf course this offseason. This time, he'll be in the spotlight in February, as Romo is partnered with Tiger Woods at the Pebble Beach National Pro-Am in February.

Per Todd Archer, the two have become close friends over the years, despite Woods' fall from public grace. Woods, Romo and Jason Witten all apparently shared a suite at Cowboys Stadium in 2009 for U2's 360° concert.

Romo will almost certainly take heat from silly Cowboys fans for this -- you know, the same type that want him run out of town because he's just not a winner. To them, this is probably some sort of proof that Romo doesn't care about football and isn't dedicated to winning.

Obviously, that's all nonsense. Romo is simply going to be playing golf with one of his friends. And hey, at least Woods will be the one at the center of attention, so that should help drown out the anti-Romo crowd. Maybe.
