2012 NFL Mock Draft: Cowboys Looking To Draft A Defensive Back

It is no secret that the Dallas Cowboys need help in the secondary and that is the position that they will be addressing in the 2012 NFL Draft with their first pick. CBS Sports has an updated mock draft by Dane Brugler and his selection is the same as most other mock drafts with the Cowboys taking Nebraska cornerback Alfonzo Dennard with the No. 22.

Here is Brugler's projection for the Cowboys:

22. Dallas Cowboys, Alfonzo Dennard, CB, Nebraska Cornhuskers: The secondary issues for the Cowboys are far from a secret and are an area that must be addressed this offseason. Dennard would probably be a top-10 pick if he was a little taller (listed at 5-feet-10, but he's closer to 5-8) because of his fluid hips and tremendous ballskills -- has the talent to work his way into the starting line-up and replace aging Terrance Newman as one of the starters on the outside.
