The Week 17 showdown between the Dallas Cowboys and New York Giants will determine the NFC East, and is perhaps the most important game of the final week of the 2011 NFL season. The Cowboys will be looking for revenge, too, after a Week 14 loss to the Giants left them looking up at their blue-clad division rivals.

Tony Romo, injured in a Week 16 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles, is probable for the Sunday showdown with a bruised hand, as are DeMarcus Ware and Laurent Robinson. The Giants will play without tight end Jake Ballard, who has become one of Eli Manning's most reliable targets.

The winner of Sunday's game will win the NFC East, and earn the No. 4 seed in the NFC for the 2011 NFL playoffs. That team will be able to welcome the conference's No. 5 seed to either MetLife Stadium or Cowboys Stadium for a NFC Wild Card round game.

Game date, time: 8:20 p.m. Eastern, Sunday, January 1

Location: MetLife Stadium, East Rutherford, New Jersey
