Plaxico Burress Scores First Touchdown With Jets, Cuts Dallas' Lead To 24-17

Plaxico Burress scored his first touchdown as a member of the New York Jets midway through the fourth quarter, hauling in a 26 yard pass from Mark Sanchez to cut Dallas' lead down to 24-17.

Burress had been a non-factor in the first half, but has caught two passes for 44 yards and a touchdown so far in the second half of play.

Sanchez, though, has been aided by injury as both Orlando Scandrick and Mike Jenkins are out with injuries in Dallas' secondary. With those two and Terrence Newman out, the Cowboys are without their top three cornerbacks as they cling to a seven point lead in the fourth quarter.
