Cowboys' Rob Ryan Begins War Of Words With Eagles

Well, this didn't take too long. New Cowboys defensive Coordinator Rob Ryan is already being a Ryan and running his mouth, this time in the direction of Philadelphia

Said Ryan of the Cowboys and Eagles:

"I don't know if we win the all-hype team. That might have gone to someone else, but we're going to beat their ass when we play them."

No, Ryan didn't directly say the Eagles, but I think it's obvious who he's referring to after the Eagles signed cornerback Nnamdi Asomugha and traded for Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie, giving the Eagles one of if not the top secondaries in the entire league.

One of the newest Eagles, Cullen Jenkins, fired back at Ryan already on twitter.

Talk is cheap. Let them talk. We are focused here and I could care less. We are worried about ourselves n getting better. He must be nervous

The lockout has been lifted for all of one week and we're already into this. Jenkins is 100% correct - talk is cheap. But the Ryan's have never shied away from the microphone or the spotlight, so this is to be expected. Let's just hope that Ryan and the Cowboys can back up their little talk, otherwise Ryan will be playing the clown this season and offseason.
