Nnamdi Asomugha Torn Between Dallas Cowboys, New York Jets

Jerry Jones is back at it again. According to Mike Freeman, top free agent cornerback Nnamdi Asomugha is "genuinely torn" on who to sign with: the New York Jets or the Dallas Cowboys

It's been believed all along that the Jets were the front runners to land Asomugha's services, especially after the Houston Texans signed Jonathan Joseph. The San Francisco 49errs and Tampa Bay Buccaneers were said to be involved in the Asomugha sweepstakes, but bowed out over the past 24 hours while the Dallas Cowboys sneaked into the picture.

Freeman also said that Jerry Jones is putting on a "full court press" to land Asomugha. Dallas is likely able to offer more money to Asomugha, as well as the starring role in the secondary as Darrelle Revis would still be the No. 1 cornerback in New York.

If Asomugha heads to New Jersey, then the Jets are going to be a popular pick to win the Super Bowl. If he heads to Dallas, then the Cowboys will suddenly be back on everybody's radar in the NFC.

Here's hoping that Jerry Jones is able to convince Asomugha to come to Dallas.
