2011 NFL Draft: Danny Watkins Drafted By Philadelphia Eagles At No. 23

Baylor’s banner day at the NFL draft first saw nose tackle Phil Taylor taken by the Cleveland Browns with the 21st pick in the first round, and it continued just two picks later as offensive lineman Danny Watkins was selected at No. 23 by the Philadelphia Eagles.

Watkins is 26 years old and is the oldest first round pick since 1980, but he is regarded by many as possibly the best immediate offensive line addition in the entire draft, someone who can be an above average offensive guard from day one.
