With the 14th pick in the 2011 NFL Draft, the St. Louis Rams selected defensive end Robert Quinn from the University of North Carolina.
Quinn didn’t play in 2010, but led the FBS in 2009 in tackles for loss while recording 11 sacks.
Quinn was another prospect that had been linked to the Dallas Cowboys leading up to the draft, but Dallas obviously passed over him in favor of Tyron Smith, addressing a bigger need at offensive line.
