2011 NFL Mock Draft: Rick Gosselin Projects J.J. Watt To Cowboys

Rick Gosselin has released his second of three pre-draft mock drafts, and this one projects J.J. Watts to the Cowboys. You’ll have to be a DMN subscriber to see the details, but Defending Big D has a good breakdown.

Gosselin always offers up three mock drafts prior to the draft. The first mock is based on his draft board of the top 32 players, yesterday’s second mock focuses more on team needs and the third and final mock which will be released on Thursday is how he sees the draft playing out.

The Huddle Report lists Rick Gosselin as the most accurate NFL mock drafter of the last five years, so we listen up when Gosselin speaks. Last year, he famously predicted the Dez Bryant pick.

Watt and Boston College OL Anthony Castonzo are getting the most play in connection to the Dallas pick at No. 9 as the week moves along. Both are typically ranked lower than the top ten, so value, worst case alternatives, and a possible trade down are likely major points of conversation at Valley Ranch right now.
