Schedules for all 32 teams in the NFL have now been released, and the Dallas Cowboys have an interesting 2011 slate. This is, of course, assuming we have a full 16 game schedule of football in 2011 - which I'm oddly optimistic that we will.
Anyway, the Cowboys' schedule for 2011 looks like this:
Week 1: Cowboys at Jets, Sunday, September 11, 8:20 p.m. EST, NBC
Week 2: Cowboys at 49ers, Sunday, September 18, 4:05 p.m. EST, FOX
Week 3: Redskins at Cowboys, Monday, September 26, 8:30 p.m. EST, ESPN
Week 4: Lions at Cowboys, Sunday, October 2, 1:00 p.m. EST, FOX
Week 5: Bye
Week 6: Cowboys at Patriots, Sunday, October 16, 4:15 p.m. EST, FOX
Week 7: Rams at Cowboys, Sunday, October 23, 4:15 p.m. EST, FOX
Week 8: Cowboys at Eagles, Sunday, October 30, 8:20 p.m. EST, NBC
Week 9: Seahawks at Cowboys, Sunday, November 6, 1:00 p.m. EST, FOX
Week 10: Bills at Cowboys, Sunday, November 13, 1:00 p.m. EST, CBS
Week 11: Cowboys at Redskins, Sunday, November 20, 1:00 p.m. EST, FOX
Week 12: Dolphins at Cowboys, Thursday, November 24, 4:15 p.m. EST, CBS
Week 13: Cowboys at Cardinals, Sunday, December 4, 4:15 p.m. EST, FOX
Week 14: Giants at Cowboys, Sunday, December 11, 8:20 p.m. EST, NBC
Week 15: Cowboys at Buccaneers, Saturday, December 17, 8:20 p.m. EST, NFLN
Week 16: Eagles at Cowboys, Saturday, December 24, 4:15 p.m. EST, FOX
Week 17: Cowboys at Giants, Sunday, January 1, 1:00 p.m. EST, FOX
A few interesting dates and times in here. The first thing that immediately sticks out to me is the schedule surrounding the games with the Giants. The Cowboys won't play the G-Men until December, when they play them twice in a span of four weeks. Sandwiched between those meetings are games against the Bucs (on a Saturday night) and Eagles on Christmas Eve.
