2011 NFL Mock Draft: Prince Amukamara Projected To Be A Dallas Cowboy

The latest and greatest 2011 NFL Mock Draft is out at SB Nation, and once again, the Dallas Cowboys are projected to select Nebraska cornerback Prince Amukamara with the ninth overall pick in the April draft.

9. Dallas Cowboys: Prince Amukamara, CB, Nebraska. A guy like Nick Fairley is such a perfect personality and talent fit for the Cowboys that it's hard to let him slide. Dallas' most urgent need is in the secondary, however, and Amukamara has Pro Bowl potential at corner.

Amukamara has been rumored to be drafted by Dallas for weeks now, despite the fact that Nick Fairley's stock seems to be slipping. Mel Kiper in his latest mock draft last week also had Amukamara headed to Dallas.

Of course, it isn't necessarily a lock that Amukamara ends up a member of the Cowboys. Last week, it was rumored that the Cincinnati Bengals were thinking about selecting Amukamara, which would throw a wrench into all these mock drafts.

If upsets are why they play the games, then, well, upsets (?) in the NFL Draft is why they have the NFL Draft.
