First off, I suspect that the biggest question of the day will be, what time will the Super Bowl actually start? It starts at 5:29 CT. The game and hours upon hours of pregame (which is already on, though the official pregame starts at 1:00) are on FOX, with Joe Buck and Troy Aikman calling it and Chris Myers and Pam Oliver on the sidelines. We will also hear plenty from Curt Menafee, Jimmy Johnson, Michael Strahan, Terry Bradshaw, Howie Long and Frank Caliendo today.
It's sunny and 44 degrees outside right now, but by superbowl gametime we're expecting a wintry mix to start falling, with temperatures falling into the 30s. The decision to close the roof of The Death Star (a.k.a. Cowboys Stadium) was made a while back, but the ugly weather has made that a necessity.
The current line for the game has the Packers as three-point favorites in most spots, with an over/under of 46. We looked at other super bowl odds and prop bets on Friday. SB Nation also has a running log of some of the crazier props. SB Nation Dallas contributors also made our pick for the winner of Super Bowl XLV yesterday, but note that we just picked the winner, not against a line.
↵As for additional entertainment, JP Starkey took an extended look at the Black Eyed Peas and how they might stack up against other super bowl halftime entertainers. He also looked at this week's announcement that the show will be tricked up by Slash and Usher. Super bowl commercials will be the the top topic tomorrow, and, in case you miss any while working on your super bowl recipes or pizza, YouTube will have all of the commercials available immediately after they air (thanks to Arrowhead Pride for noting this).
