Super Bowl XLV MVP Predictions

New, 1 comment

I really believe, perhaps strangely, that Super Bowl MVP is the most iconic award in professional football. I can't tell you who won more than half of the regular season MVPs in the 2000s, but I can tell you every Super Bowl MVP back to Bart Starr. I'm an extreme case, I'm sure, but I'll bet you know more about the MVPs of this one game played once a season than you do about any other NFL individual trophy. Perhaps it's because football is seen as the "ultimate team sport," and this is a player doing something memorable in the crowning ultimate team event. Perhaps it's because a kicker has never won one, and therefor every Super Bowl is better than the entirety of the 1982 season.

In any case, we will have our 46th Super Bowl MVP in a few days (there's an extra thanks to the Cowboys!). Put them to "paper" here so we can laud you for being correct. I have a few obvious and a few not-so-obvious choices on the poll, but feel free to give us any one else you want to pick, please go right ahead and post in the comments.
