Cowboys Vs. Cardinals Score Update: Cowboys Use Field Position To Punch In TD

Good field position finally paid off for the Cowboys. After starting at their 45 and 38 and Arizona’s 35 with only three points to show, Dallas finally turned plus field position into a touchdown. Mat McBriar punted out of bounds at the Arizona 13, and DeMarcus Ware sacked Kevin Kolb for an 11-yard loss back to the two.

With Arizona punting from their end line, Dez Bryant returned to the 33, thanks to a broken tackle and two pad cracking blocks. After an incomplete pass, Tony Romo found Jason Witten down the middle to put Dallas in scoring position. Romo then found Dez Bryant in the end zone after Bryant beat Patrick Peterson badly on a slant.

Late second quarter: Cowboys 10, Cardinals 3
