The New York Giants are relatively healthy going into their final game of the regular season versus the Dallas Cowboys, as the NFC East crown hangs in the balance. Yet, in Eli Manning's stance, his arsenal of pass catchers are a depleted unit. Ravaged by injuries all season, the only starting receiver not on the injury report is Victor Cruz.
Courtesy of Matt Ehalt of ESPNNewYork.com, Coach Tom Coughlin tries to remain optimistic on their chances for Sunday:
"I am optimistic that they both will be ready to go because we have a little bit of time left. I would like to see them both practice," Giants coach Tom Coughlin said of Nicks and Manningham. "That has not been something that has been available all year long. We need that and we certainly need the timing work because that was something definitely needed. We are going to try to work on that this week."
Here is the full practice report for the New York Giants on Wednesday:
DID NOT PRACTICE
Tight end Jake Ballard (knee)
Running back Ahmad Bradshaw (foot)
Linebacker Mark Herzlich (ankle)
Wide receiver Hakeem Nicks (hamstring)
LIMITED PRACTICE
