Cowboys Vs. Giants Flexed To Prime Time

New, 1 comment

In maybe one of the easiest calls in NBC flex scheduling history, the Week 17 defacto NFC East title game between the Dallas Cowboys and New York Giants has been flexed into prime time and will be televised nationally on NBC.

Both the Giants and Cowboys are 8-7, meaning the winner of the game will win the NFC East and host a first round playoff game in the playoffs. Neither team can qualify for a wild card berth, so it's win or go home for both teams.

↵

The Cowboys could have clinched the division in Week 16 with a Giants loss and a Cowboys win. However, the Giants beat the Jets before the Cowboys ever took the field against the Eagles, making a clinching scenario impossible.

This will be the second time the Giants and Cowboys meet on Sunday Night Football in the span of one month, and hopefully for Dallas fans, it ends with a better result than the first meeting.
