Tony Romo Injury: Romo Says He Will Play Vs. The Giants

It's do or die in Week 17 for the Dallas Cowboys, and all indications are that Tony Romo will be under center when the team takes on the New York Giants with the NFC East division title on the line. Romo, who suffered a bruised throwing hand when he hit the helmet of Philadelphia Eagles DE Jason Babin on a follow through, told reporters after the game on Saturday that he'll "be fine" and will "be alright" for next Sunday's game.

X-rays taken of Romo's hand during Saturday's game came back negative, but beyond that, the severity of Romo's injury is unknown. Romo reportedly wanted back in the game vs. Philly, but he was unable to take a snap or grip the ball, and thus was benched.

Romo also said after the game that despite not needing an MRI on the hand, he's not sure if, or when, he'll return to practice this week.
