VIDEO: Tony Romo Injury Forces Him From Game

This isn't the start Cowboys fans wanted to see. First, the Eagles march down the field to jump out to an early 7-0 lead. Then, the Giants defeat the Jets, rendering Dallas' game against the Eagles irrelevant. Shortly thereafter, Dallas quarterback Tony Romo left the game in the first quarter after injuring his right (read: throwing) hand after getting crushed by Jason Babin.

Romo was taken to the locker room following the hit, but has since reemerged on the sidelines and has been throwing warmup passes. Whether or not he comes back into the game is likely a decision to be made by Jason Garrett, and if he wants to risk further injury to Romo in a meaningless game.

Win or lose, the Cowboys will be playing for the NFC East crown next Sunday, on New Year's Day, in New Jersey against the Giants. The Eagles were eliminated from playoff contention earlier on Saturday after the Giants beat the Jets.
