A blown coverage in the Dallas secondary has the Cowboys trailing the New York Giants 22-20 heading into the fourth quarter of a key NFC East match up.
Dallas wasted little time extending its halftime lead marching 41 yards in its first possession of the second half resulting in a Dan Bailey 49 yard field goal to make the score 20-15. New York and Eli Manning came right back catching the Cowboys defense in a late substitution and a blown coverage resulting in a 47 yard touchdown reception for Mario Manningham.
Tony Romo has thrown for 135 yards and two touchdowns but will need to engineer a fourth quarter comeback if the Cowboys want to stay in the NFC's playoff picture. Felix Jones has his first 100 yard effort of the season rushing for 102 yards on 13 carries after starter DeMarco Murray suffered a fractured right ankle in the first quarter.
Eli Manning has been under duress the whole game but has hit enough big plays to make up the difference. Manning has thrown for 257 yards and a touchdown through the first three quarters of the game.
