Dallas Cowboys rookie running back DeMarco Murray faces a tough match up in Week 14 against the New York Giants. NumberFire.com projects Murray to rush for just under 80 yards this week and to score 13.38 fantasy points in standard formats. Murray is the No. 11 running back this week in numberFire's projections and the No. 31 player overall.
Since bursting onto the scene with a 253 yard franchise-record performance in Week 7, Murray has been a staple in the Cowboys backfield amassing 20 carries in four of the next six games. His worst performance of the season since being named the starter came last week in the loss to Arizona where he finished with just 38 yards rushing on 12 carries.
If there are any complaints for Murray's fantasy owners it is the running back's lack of touchdowns that is preventing him from moving up the rankings list among running backs. Entering Week 14, Murray has 159 carries for 872 yards but only two touchdowns.
