DeMarco Murray Week 11 Fantasy Projections

Dallas Cowboys rookie running back DeMarco Murray has taken over the starting roll since Felix Jones has been out the past four games with an ankle injury. Jones is active for Sunday's game, but he will be the backup and return kicks, so for those who grabbed Murray will reap the rewards since he has supplanted Jones as the starting running back.

Murray is still a good play and particularly against the Redskins who are giving up a lot of points to running backs:

Murray has been exceptional in Felix Jones' absence and also established a franchise record for most yards in a single game with his 253-yard outburst against St. Louis in Week 7. That output matched Felix Jones' total for the season before an injury has forced him to miss the past four games. He is expected to return for Sunday's game against the Redskins, but in a secondary role to Murray, who has three 100-yard games in the past month. His predecessor Jones has had just two such outings in his 41-game career. Fantasy owners should continue to view Murray as a No. 1 Fantasy RB for Week 11.

Jones could eat into some of Murray's carries, but it is not expected to be too many and that is why numberFire projectsMurray as the fourth best running back this week.

Heres are numberFire's complete Week 11 running back projetions:
