Bills Vs. Cowboys: Time, TV Schedule, Radio Streaming And More

Former Cowboys head coach Chan Gailey brings the surprising Buffalo Bills to visit Jerryworld in an awkward renunion.

It's hard for Cowboys fans to not look at Sunday's matchup without fond memories of back-to-back Super Bowl wins, but the storyline between former Dallas head coach and current Bills head man Chan Gailey returning to his former place of employment echoes the struggles of the post-90s struggles for the franchise.

Gailey spoke to reporters this week, and the San Antonio Express quoted Gailey as over the entire debacle of the Cowboys' playoff struggles during his short tenure:

The Cowboys made the playoffs both seasons, but that didn’t stop Jerry Jones from firing Gailey after the 1999 campaign, a move the owner later classified as one of the biggest mistakes he’s made.

"Those coulda, shoulda, woulda things, you think about," Gailey said. "But if you dwell on them, you are wasting brain cells.

"There’s no sense in dwelling on that kind of stuff," added Gailey, who was 18-16 with Dallas, including two playoff losses. "You go on with life. If you spend too much time in the past, all you are doing is hurting yourself."
