Dez Bryant Misses Second Hearing Regarding $600,000 Debt

Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant missed his second hearing to attempt to resolve an alleged $600,000 debt Bryant owes a local jeweler and ticket broker.

Earlier today it was reported that Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant missed a second hearing regarding a $600,000 debt Bryant allegedly owes to jeweler and ticket broker Eleow Hunt. This is Bryant's second missed meeting with but today's missed meeting there was no reason given for the absence. Now, Hunt has filed a motion to have this hearing to take place any day of the week. Bryant had chosen Tuesday's since that is his day off.

Hunt had provided Bryant with jewelry, tickets to sporting events and even loans. Here are the details of what Bryant was given:

• Jewelry totaling $588,500

• Sporting event tickets totaling $15,850 (including some Cowboys tickets in 2009, the year before Bryant joined the team)

• $11,000 cash from an outstanding loan for $26,000 given to [David] Wells on Bryant's behalf

This suit was field last year by Hunt and the items were given to Bryant during an 11-month period dating back to June of 2009 when Bryant was still a student at Oklahoma State.
