2011 NFL Mock Draft: SB Nation Post-Senior Bowl Mock Draft

If SB Nation's latest mock draft is prophetic, we are seeing a bad trend for the Cowboys: quarterbacks are sliding below their pick. One of the Cowboys' hopes should be that Blaine Gabbart and/or Cam Newton, as well as the top receivers, A.J. Green and Julio Jones, see their stock rise and push better fitting players down to No. 9. That doesn't appear to be happening at the moment.

Green stays at No. 4, and I'm sure he'll stay in front of Dallas. But Jones and Gabbert now sit at 10 and 12, and Newton is essentially off the map, down at No. 25. Jake Locker has actually moved past him to No. 16. Both top corners - Patrick Peterson and Prince Amukamara - still go in front of Dallas, and nine of the top 14 are front seven players, including the Cowboys' projected pick:

9. Dallas Cowboys: Cameron Jordan, DE, California. With the top two corners off the board, Dallas can simply take the best defender available. There's little doubt that that's Jordan here, who drew rave reviews from the Senior Bowl after dominating a surprisingly good group of blockers in 1-on-1 drills during three straight practices last week.

Here is Mocking The Draft's bio on Jordan. He seems a little small for the 3-4 end role, though Dallas has others his height, and you would think that he could add on a few pounds.
