SB Nation released its latest and greatest NFL power rankings, and not surprisingly, the Dallas Cowboys remained in the bottom half.
The Cowboys upset victory over the Colts was enough to bump Dallas up two spots this week - jumping from 25th to 23rd. Even though the Cowboys are 3-1 under Jason Garrett, it's obviously too little, too late in terms of this season and taking Dallas seriously. The loss of rookie standout Dez Bryant for the season hurts the Cowboys as well. Dallas will be faced with yet another tough task this weekend when they take on Mike Vick and the Philadelphia Eagles.
On the other end of the power ranking spectrum, the New England Patriots remain on top. The Patriots dismantled the J-E-T-S Jets on Monday night, winning with ease 45-3. The Patriots established themselves as the AFC favorite to reach the Super Bowl and Tom Brady put himself front and center in the MVP picture as well.
↵The rest of the top five is rounded out with the Falcons, Steelers, Ravens and Saints.
