Fantasy Football Rankings Week 16: Jon Kitna, Felix Jones Safe To Start

For most sane leagues, Week 16 represents championship week in fantasy. If you've made it this far, hats off to you. Chances are if you are still in it and don't have a dominant team, you're probably a bit of a wreck over who to start and will be compulsively checking stat-tracker all throughout Sunday - don't worry, we understand.

Here's a look at how the Cowboys stack up for fantasy purposes in Week 16.

↵

Jon Kitna is rated as the 10th best option at quarterback by Rotoworld this week - making him a must start essentially. I can't say that I disagree with the ranking - Arizona is that bad on defense and Kitna has played pretty well so far. Unless you've got a clear QB 1, start Kitna with confidence.

↵

Rotoworld lists Felix Jones as the 13th best running back and Tashard Choice as the 20th best play this week, making them both deserving of starts. Jones I agree with - he should be started in all leagues. Choice is a bit cloudy for me with Marion Barber coming back this week. Choice being ranked 20th is a bit aggressive for me - I'd only use him in a flex spot. Barber, meanwhile, is totally off my radar this week.

↵

Miles Austin is the 18th best wide out according to Rotoworld this week, and I'd probably slot him a bit higher than that. It's irrelevant though, he's a must-start. No other Dallas receiver is worth a spot even in flex play.

↵

Jason Witten, likewise, is a must-start. Rotoworld has him as the top-ranked TE this week and I can't disagree with that. Witten has played well lately and is facing a putrid Arizona defense.

↵

Rotoworld has the Dallas defense at No. 4 this week - but I don't know about that. This is the same defense that allowed four touchdowns to Rex Grossman. I would consider other (better) options before Dallas, but I can't say they're a bad bet against a terrible Cardinals offense. I just don't think they're trustworthy.

↵

David Buehler is an interesting play this week as the Cowboys are likely to score a lot. He's a bit inconsistent, but if you're willing to take the risk of a couple misses in exchange for a potential 50+ yarder - I'd say this is the week to take the plunge on him.
