Fantasy Football Rankings Week 15: Cowboys Face Poor Defense

Most fantasy leagues will be headed into their semi-final rounds this weekend, and hopefully you're lucky enough to have advanced this far. Unfortunately, I was not - but I'm still here to help.

The Cowboys will be facing one of the worst defenses in the league this weekend, which makes for an excellent match up for nearly all of their skill players. Jon Kitna is ranked by Rotoworld as the 12th best quarterback this week - making him a pretty safe start. The Redskins have the 29th ranked passing defense in the league in terms of yards per game, so Kitna - who has passed for over 300 yards as a starter three times this year - is poised to have another solid game.

Rotoworld ranks Felix Jones as the 17th best running back for this week, which makes him a must-start in all leagues. Washington also boasts are poor run defense - ranking 28th in the NFL. The only downside to starting Jones is Jason Garrett's penchant to hand the ball to either Tashard Choice or Marion Barber at the goal line. Rotoworld rates Choice as the 28th best running back this week - but be careful if you plan on using him. It sounds like Marion Barber will be ready to play this week, so Choice may lose out on some of those goal line carries to Barber. I would avoid using either Choice or Barber, but if you're desperate in the flex position then Choice is the guy I would gamble on.

Austin Miles is the only Dallas receiver worth starting. Rotoworld ranks him as the 13th best WR option this week and that makes him a must-start, needless to say. Roy Williams, who is nursing a groin injury, is not worth starting and I'm not sure he would be even if he were healthy.

Jason Witten is the top ranked tight end of the week by Rotoworld. He's been a must-start every week this year, so nothing new is changing here with Witten.

Dallas' defense is ranked 10th by Rotoworld this week, and for the first time in a long time are worth a look. Washington will be starting Rex Grossman at QB, so it should be a fairly inept offensive display by the 'Skins.

David Buehler is ranked 20th by Rotoworld and I'd definitely continue to avoid him. He's got a huge leg, but he's just too inconsistent. If you're in a league that doesn't penalize for missed field goals then he might be worth a look, but there still has to be better options.
