Jerry Jones will reportedly introduce Jason Garrett as the eighth head coach of the Dallas Cowboys in a 4:15 CST press conference at Valley Ranch. Garrett accepts the job 3+ years after being hired as offensive coordinator after interviewing for the head coach job, but before Wade Phillips was hired as his head coach.
Garrett’s offense has received criticism for piling up yards but not touchdowns for the past season-and-a-half. We haven’t heard yet whether Garrett will retain offensive coordinator duties or who will take over as defensive coordinator. Defensive backs coach Dave Campo and defensive line coach Paul Pasqualoni are prime candidates.
